The legend of the biker who defeated Cthulhu with eldritch cards

Summary

A short fanfic heavily inspired by elements of the Cards of Cthulhu video game.
An elderly person tells a stranger AKA You the legend of the biker who defeated Cthulhu with eldritch cards.

The legend of the biker who defeated Cthulhu with eldritch cards

Come here, come here, Stranger. Few people cross the desert to come to our village these days. Do you like legends? I've got one that might interest you. The legend of the biker who defeated Cthulhu with eldritch cards. Yes, Cthulhu exist!

A long, long time ago, Cthulhu had awakened but rather than dominate or destroy the world, he decided to chill out in the desert with his monster buddies. The desert you've crossed, Stranger. Why did Cthulhu choose this place? Nobody knows. But one thing was certain: people who crossed the desert would die in the clutches of Cthulhu and his monsters.

That's when the biker enters the scene. A young man with blue-dyed hair, from a modest family, but with an affinity for the supernatural. Even though his girlfriend has begged him not to, the biker, armed with a gun and eldritch cards, crosses the desert. He destroys every monster that crosses his path.

Of course, when Cthulhu finds out, he's furious, but he doesn't have to wait long for the biker to go straight to him. No one knows how the fight went, but Cthulhu was defeated by the young man. He returned to his girlfriend and died shortly afterwards. It seems that using the eldritch cards drained his vital energy and marked his soul so that it belonged to an Elder God other than Cthulhu. And so his legend ends.

What? Stranger, you don't believe in legends? Well, that's a shame. In that case, I won't keep you any longer. Enjoy your stay in our village!
